(Friday, August 6, 2010) The American Speed Association® Kwik Trip Midwest Tour presented by ECHO Outdoor Power Equipment and grandstay.net drivers and teams spent this past Tuesday in Kaukauna, WI for the 29th Annual “Dixieland 150” at Wisconsin International Raceway.
ST. LOUIS (Aug. 05, 2010) -- After the tremendous success of its HD plasma TV giveaways, American Speed Association Midwest Tour is gearing up to go full speed into text message marketing with mobile marketing provider MESSAGEbuzz Inc.
The American Speed Association® Kwik Trip Midwest Tour presented by ECHO Outdoor Power Equipment and grandstay.net organizes car races across the Upper Midwest and embarked earlier this year on a phone text messaging campaign to encourage fans to attend races. Fans were invited to text into the tour for a chance to win a 42-inch, flat-screen plasma HD TV (a $500 value donated by sponsor Best Buy) or tickets to an upcoming ASA Midwest Tour race.
JOHNNY SAUTER SETS THE PACE IN THE “DIXIELAND 150”

I know if I finish, it will be a good finish.” Those were the words of NASCAR Camping World Truck series driver, Johnny Sauter before strapping in for the American Speed Association® Kwik Trip Midwest Tour presented by ECHO Outdoor Power Equipment and grandstay.net’s “Dixieland 150.” His words proved true as he took home the victory in the 29th Annual Tuesday night event at Wisconsin International Raceway.

NASCAR Camping World Truck Series driver, Johnny Sauter sets fast time for the 29th Annual Dixieland 150 at Wisconsin International Raceway.
The on-track autograph session is coming up next followed. Racing will get underway at 7:00PM
3:45PM - SLM Practice #2 Results
ASAMT Super Late Model practice has ended. Tim Schendel topped the speed chart for the second and final practice. 37 late models will attempt to qualify for tonight's 150 lap event. Minnesota driver, Darren Wolke's day ended early after motor problems during practice.
ASA OREGON Midwest Truck Tour practice is underway.
Qualifying is set for 4:30PM.
2:15PM - SLM Practice #1 Results
It is another sunny, hot and humid day in the Midwest as the stars of the ASA Midwest Tour and the new for 2010 ASA OREGON Midwest Truck Tour take to the D-shaped 1/2 mile of Wisconsin International Raceway. The first practice session for the Super Late Models is just getting underway.
The second practice for the Super Late Models is coming up at 2:30.
