WISCONSIN DELLS, WI (Saturday, July 18, 2009) - Frank Kreyer has ran many laps around Dells Raceway Park, an ASA Member Track, and tonight he picks up the biggest win in his career as he wins the Race for the Gold - Silver Race. Kreyer held off a late charge from Steve Holzhausen for his first win with Mark Eswein in third.

The story of the race was how Kreyer held off the multiple attempts from Steve Carlson throughout the 125-lap feature event. It was a battle that had a strong crowd standing throughout the final ten laps.

Kreyer, who started third, took the lead from polesitter Dan Lensing on lap 8 with Carlson, who started fifth, right behind them. Throughout the race Carlson would get into the back bumper and try to loosen Kreyer and take advantage of the precious inside line around the third-mile oval.
