9:40 PM Update
Jacob Goede held off a tough Mark Kraus to win the Elmer Musgrave Memorial 100 presented by Texas Corral Grill & Saloon. Jonathan Eilen was third with Steve Carlson in fourth. Nathan Haseleu rounded out the top-five. The race only saw a competition yellow and yellow with 21 laps to go for a Dan Fredrickson spin in turn two. More details and results will be posted later.
7:35 PM Update
Tim Schendel wins the first heat. Goede second after passing Frank Kreyer on the last lap on the outside. Dan Fredrickson was fourth and Chris Wimmer in fifth.
Steve Carlson went from fifth to first to beat Dalton Zehr for the second heat win. Ricky Baker was third with Jonathan Eilen in fourth. Dave Gentile Jr. was fifth.
7:15 PM Update
Anthony Danta held off Nick Neville to win the last chance race. Jeff Storm was in third with Brent Kirchner in fourth. Kyle Calmes was fifth and Nick Panitzke in sixth. Those top-six advance to the main event.
5:40 PM Update
Nathan Haseleu set a fast time of 19.544 seconds (92.100 mph) to win the ECHO/Oregon Cutting Systems "Quick Cut" Qualifying Award for tonight's Elmer Musgrave Memorial 100 presented by Texas Corral at Illiana Motor Speedway. Jamie Iverson was second with a time of 19.675 seconds (91.487 mph) with Blake Brown in third with a time of 19.679 seconds (91.468 mph). Matt Kocourek was fourth with a time of 19.689 seconds (91.422 mph) with Mark Kraus rounding out the top-five with a time of 19.703 seconds (91.357 mph). 3:35 PM Update
Second practice has ended with Dan Fredrickson setting the fastest time of 19.865 seconds with Blake Brown second with a time of 19.909 seconds. Chris Wimmer was third with a time of 19.941 seconds. Nathan Haseleu also had a 19.941 second time. Jacob Goede rounded out the top-five with a time of 19.953 seconds. Qualifying is at 5 pm.
2:35 PM Update
The first practice has ended for the ASAMT at Illiana Motor Speedway. Current ASAMT points leader Nathan Haseleu was the fastest with a time of 20.032 seconds with Blake Brown in second with a time of 20.123 seconds. Steve Carlson was third with a time 20.166 seconds with Jeff Storm in fourth with a time of 20.199 seconds. Nick Neville rounded out the top-five with a time of 20.274 seconds. 28 cars are on hand.

Hello from Illiana Speedway. It is a warm and sunny day for the 8th Annual Elmer Musgrave Memorial 100. The teams are going through tech and preparing for the first practice at 1:45pm. We will do our best to update throughout the day as we have limited internet access.
