From the Tim Schendel Pits... SCHENDEL TO RUN IN WISCONSIN CHALLENGE SERIES RACE THIS WEEKEND Schendel looking for repeat win after winning last year in Marshfield.

Sparta, WI, June 11, 2009 --On a three week hiatus from his regular series, Tim
Schendel and his Iron Eagle Racing Team are setting their sights on the Wisconsin
Challenge Series this weekend. On Saturday, June 13, Schendel will attempt to qualify
and race the #21 TexPar Energy Chevrolet at the Marshfield Motor Speedway half-mile
oval for the running of the “Nasonville Dairy/Weberʼs Farm Store” 80-lap feature.

Marshfield is not a new venue for Schendel. Last year, he raced there as part of the
ASA Midwest Tour schedule. Schendel went on to win the event. “Iʼm really looking
forward to going back to Marshfield. We won there last year and Iʼm hoping that
experience will help us this year.” Schendel said.

Like the ASA Midwest Tour, the Wisconsin Challenge Series (WCS) is also a super late
model series with the same rules. And, like the ASA Midwest Tour, the WCS has a
number of talented drivers including series point leader Mark Eswein, Chris Weinkauf,
Bangorʼs Steve Holzhausen, among others. “The Wisconsin Challenge Series is
another tough series to run because there are so many good drivers. Iʼve raced with
many of them before. It definitely will be a fun race to drive but also a very competitive
one!” Schendel stated.

Marshfield Motor Speedway GM/Promoter Wayne Brevik is expecting a large field of
entries and expects Saturdayʼs race to be one of the best ever to run at Marshfield.
“With a number of all-star drivers appearing this Saturday for the Nasonville Dairy/
Weber's Farm Store Wisconsin Challenge Series Super Late Model feature, and many
knowing the fast way around the 1/2 mile paved oval, Sparta's Tim Schendel has to be
one of the favorites to visit victory lane!" Brevik said.

Schendel will be qualifying the #21 TexPar Energy Chevrolet for the 80-lap feature
Saturday at 3:30 with racing action beginning at 6p.

In addition to primary sponsor TexPar Energy, Schendel is sponsored by Cote
Construction, Shades Body Studio, Leoʼs Upper Dells Bar, Tim Neubauer Trucking, the
