From the Chris Wimmer Pits... Chris won the 6th Annual Flip Merwin Memorial on Thursday night at State Park Speedway in Wausau, WI. Chris also had fast time and won his heat to complete a clean sweep.

While it’s nice for Wimmer to find victory lane once again, his win Thursday means a little more. “Flip used to help my brother on his car a lot and he helped me for a number of years,� said Wimmer, “To come out here and race so well and win on his night is really special to me. He was such a great person and friend and to win this race means a lot.�
