MURGIC GETS ON TRACK WITH POWERTRACK

By: Kevin Ramsell
BURLINGTON, WI (Thursday, June 19, 2008) – 2008 ASAMT Lane Automotive Rookie of the Year contender Nick Murgic will have a new look on his #12 Super Late Model this Sunday at Grundy County Speedway. That is because he, along with his Murgic Racing team, is proud to welcome PowerTrack as a new primary sponsor for the remainder of this season.

Based in Minneapolis, MN, Founded in 1997 with the transportation industry in mind, PowerTrack’s objectives were simple and clear: Create an efficient back-office environment, dramatically cut accounts payable costs, ensure accurate and secure payments, and facilitate faster payment times. To accomplish these goals, PowerTrack created a web-based automated payment network that provided a complete payment solution. As a result, the web-based accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management strategies intertwined seamlessly with procurement, logistics, and accounting systems to deliver cost-effective and quick payments. Today, PowerTrack is in operation around the globe, administers billions of dollars in payments, and processes millions of invoices between thousands of buyers and sellers worldwide. “As you know, our goal is to win the Rookie of the Year Title in the ASA Midwest Tour this year,” Chris Murgic, Marketing Director of Murgic Racing stated. “Signing PowerTrack has eased the financial pressure for our team. We have been working pretty closely with PowerTrack to help set up a new marketing campaign around auto racing.”

“We wish Nick the best of luck as he competes for the Rookie of the Year and are pleased to support the Murgic Racing Team,” said Rick Langer, General Manager of PowerTrack. “At PowerTrack, we speed up the payment process, and we’ll be cheering as Nick speeds around the track.”

PowerTrack does business in 42 countries and has office all over the world. On Sunday, PowerTrack will have over 30 clients in attendance for the ECHO Power Blower 100 presented by ProSource Motorsports and Hype, the fifth event on the 2008 ASA Kwik Trip Midwest Tour presented by ECHO Outdoor Power Equipment schedule.

“We have spent some time working out the details and preparing a show car for that event,” Murgic said. “The added time commitment to build a relationship is definitely worth it and we are very excited to have PowerTrack on board.”

“This is exciting news for Murgic Racing and we are thrilled to assist them with their hospitality this Sunday,” Steve Einhaus, ASAMT VP stated. “This is a win-win for everyone involved. Nick is a talented driver and he along with his team will represent PowerTrack very well at our remaining 2008 events.”
