JOHNNY SAUTER AMONG THE ENTRIES FOR THE ASAMT KEITH FLECK MILLER 100 AT HAWKEYE DOWNS

BURLINGTON, WI (Tuesday, June 10, 2008) – So far, as of this writing, a total of 38 drivers have filed entries for the Keith Fleck Miller 100 this Friday night at Hawkeye Downs Speedway in Cedar Rapids, IA. NASCAR Sprint Cup competitor Johnny Sauter is among the entries for the fifth event of the 2008 ASA Kwik Trip Midwest Tour presented by ECHO Outdoor Power Equipment season.

Sauter is recently coming off a fifth place at the ASAMT Miller Lite 100 presented by Arby’s at Dells Raceway Park in Wisconsin Dells, WI where he finished one spot behind his nephew and ASAMT Touring Star Travis Sauter.

Also entered is last year’s Keith Fleck Miller 100 winner Steve Carlson. Carlson, who currently leads the weekly Hawkeye Downs point standings over Dudley Fleck, will be going for his fifth Fleck win. His past wins came in 1996, 1997, and 2001.

Along with the ASAMT Touring Stars, many Hawkeye Downs weekly competitors have also registered for the event. Those include: Dudley Fleck (Cedar Rapids, IA), Griffin McGrath (Cedar Rapids, IA), Brad Osborn (Janesville, IA), Thor Anderson (Bondurant, IA), Jim Ross (Robins, IA), Brad Dvorak (Lisbon, IA), Chris Sevey (Waterloo, IA), and Joey Gase (Cedar Rapids, IA).

ASAMT Qualifying gets underway at 4:45 pm with the popular autograph session starting at 5:45 pm. The racing action will start at 7:00 pm. The weekly Hawkeye Downs Modifieds and Hornets will also be competing that night.
