ABOUT THE AMERICAN SPEED ASSOCIATION KWIKTRIP MIDWEST TOUR PRESENTED BY ECHO OUTDOOR POWER EQUIPMENT

Hello and welcome to the new ASA Midwest Tour. The purpose of the ASA Midwest Tour is to bring to you the excitement of Asphalt Short Track racing directly to your local racing facility. Excitement is something that has been lacking in the short track world and Tim and I are creating something from the past while inserting the new.

"Our goal is to help race tracks be successful" something that has been overlooked by racing series across the country. We will be very involved in helping plan, create, and execute an event that people are looking forward to seeing while supporting their local race track. While we work to secure racing events strictly in the Upper Midwest(IL, IA, MN, WI, Upper MI) we encourage all of you to visit our "race track" section to vote on drivers that you would like to see at your racing facility or where you would like to see our series compete.

The ASA Midwest Tour will not only bring you the biggest stars in the Midwest it will bring back some of the "old" while creating the "new". Tim and I are working with stars from the past to join us for our 2007 racing season while also building a series that can develop our stars of the future. The biggest and most important thing about the ASA Midwest Tour is our rules package that allows locals from each racing facility to compete against the traveling stars. "We'll have many options available for the locals to compete as engines from all over the Midwest are welcome". (9to1, ACE, Crate, Concept, Sealed SLM engines and others will be allowed to compete under our rules)

Filling the void of "what used to be" will be our biggest plan for success. We encourage all of you to help our series be successful by supporting your local race track each and every week. We are also very excited about our sanctioning agreement with Dennis Huth's ASA and Racing Speed Associates. ASA not only brings a great name but a wealth of support to our racing participants and a growing member track program.

As our schedule begins to grow to 10-12 events we encourage all of you to keep visiting our website for any new information that is released daily. We thank you for taking the time to stop by and see us and we look forward to seeing all of you in the spring of 2007. Questions or information can be obtained by calling the series office at 608-884-0388 or by contacting Steve Einhaus and Tim Olson by email.
