BURLINGTON, WI (Thursday, April 17, 2008) – With the ASA Kwik Trip Midwest Tour presented by ECHO Outdoor Power Equipment taking its first green flag of the 2008 season this Saturday night, ECHO is also waving the green flag to the start of the yard work season for the ASAMT fans. Fans will have an opportunity to get a jump start this weekend in the ELKO, MN area.

Along with the ECHO display that fans can visit at Elko Speedway on Saturday, April 19th, the ECHO ASA Midwest Tour race car will be on display at the Cannon ACE Hardware located at 31265 County Rd 24 Blvd in Cannon Falls, MN from 11am to 1pm on Friday, April 18th.

“We are a fairly new store and I am excited to see the car and the display that will be here on Friday,� Jeremy Groth, Cannon ACE Hardware Manager stated. “It’s all about getting the ECHO name out to our customers; ECHO provides a product that I feel is better than the competition. The biggest thing we can give our customers is that we not only sell ECHO products, but we service them as well and many large chain stores cannot provide that.�

Fans will be able to get up close and view the race car and visit with representatives from ECHO and the ASAMT. Along with the race car, fans will also be able to see the latest in the ECHO line up and get a coupon for 10% off all ECHO units purchased at either the Cannon Falls ACE Hardware or D and G ACE Hardware located at 1417 1st Avenue in Austin, MN through the end of May. Coupons will also be available at the ECHO booth at Elko Speedway this Saturday as well.

For 2008, Echo has some great new products that will be a hit with professional’s and home owners. Building on the momentum of the 5 Year Consumer Warranty that Echo debuted last year, Echo has added a full line of new products for 2008 in the new Power Orange color. New for 2008 are the new SRM-280 trimmer, and the new U-Turn trimmer head.
 
The SRM-280 Series of Trimmers, all in a bold new color, represents an entire new class of performance for ECHO Trimmers. ECHO’s new 28.1cc engine class delivers increased power combined with light weight. That means better performance in a great package.

The 2008 ASAMT season will open on Saturday, April 19th with the Kwik Trip 125 at Elko Speedway in Elko, MN. Jonathan Eilen will be back to defend his 2007 win against the ASAMT Touring Stars along with the best asphalt Super Late Model Drivers in the Midwest.
