MANLEY PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS PARTICIPATES IN ASAMT ENGINE GIVEAWAY PROGRAM

By: Kevin Ramsell
BURLINGTON, WI (Friday, March 28, 2008) – ASA Kwik Trip Midwest Tour presented by ECHO Outdoor Power Equipment’s Engine Giveaway program was successful due to the assistance of many part manufacturers. Manley Performance Products, Inc. was one manufacturer that stepped up to help the ASAMT giveaway three engines at the 2007 Championship Banquet.

Manley Performance was founded by Hank Manley in 1966. With two locations in Lakewood, NJ and Orange, CA, they have been a leading manufacturer of high performance internal engine components for over 40 years. Their core products are valves, valve train products such as springs, retainers, locks and connecting rods and pistons.

Some of their specialty items include: 300M Alloy “Dirt Series” connecting rods that are made specifically to withstand the rigors of dirt late model big horsepower engines, NexTek valve springs that are able to handle the high life and high RPM applications and titanium valves where Manley can make custom to any specs the engine builder wants.

Trip Manley, Vice President, is pleased that a series like the ASAMT is supportive to built engines, “Obviously if it helps keep my customers busy, this is beneficial to my company.”

He is also grateful of the three engine builders who participated in the engine giveaway as well as the ASAMT, “Pro Power, B&B Race Engines, and Tesar Engineering are all excellent customers of Manly Performance and I was happy to lend support to what appears to have been an enormously successful campaign in 2007 based on the high car counts and the positive responses from the competitors.”

“We would like to thank Trip and Manley Performance for their participation in the ASAMT Engine Giveaway program,” Steve Einhaus, ASAMT VP stated. “This season we have three drivers that are grateful for manufacturers like Manley Performance assisting with this. Brandon Hill, Travis Sauter and Kris Kelly are three drivers who appreciate their help as they will be competing with those engines this season.”
