ASA Midwest Tour Late Model Rules Changes 12/14/11

Tires: 2012 Tire: Hoosier F25 Left and F48 Right

Body Rules

ADD
1. No pannels to extend tops of doors.

ADD
2. No panning of bottom of car except from radiator to front bumper and between frame rails. For air intake to radiator.

ADD
3. Exhaust that exits from door must be flush and must have door flange and mounted flush to door.

ADD
4. Add to ABC Rules MEASUREMENT "A" Must be
a minimum of 11.5 inches and nose measurment must be 20 inches minimum from hood to bottom of the nose.

ADD
5. All air for brake blowers must be taken from nose
or radiator air box only. May not pull air from under car at any time. Max 2 per each wheel. Air must only be blown on brake rotors.

ADD
6. Right side door inner pannel must drop down from
the door and must be official approved.

ADD
7. The use of a 6.5 inch CLEAR spoiler will be allowed.

Chassis

ADD
1. No bird cage set ups of any kind. No part of the trailing arm mounting bracket may rotate of move.

ADD
2. Shocks must be mechanical and no part of the shock or suspension may utilize electricity.

ADD
3. All added weight must be solid LEAD no tugsten.

Clutches

ADD
1. Only standard material clutches allowed. No Slipper or Centrifugal clutches allowed.

Engines

ADD
1.Add RPM Limits for MEP and Hamner engines.

Safety

CHANGE
1. SA 2010 Helmets

Fuel Cells

Change

1. Minimum Height is 10 inches.
